Let’s Go Camping

 Let’s Go Camping

Camping tents  Camping is among one of the greatest activities I can think of to do with my family in the summer that is relatively inexpensive.  Young kids can learn a lot exploring the environment. I am currently at a campsite in the woods with my family.  We rented a cabin since this is the first year we’ve decided to go camping with our 5-year-old son. I am testing the waters, I want to make sure he is comfortable in the outdoors before we go full-on sitting by the campsite watching the fire burn down.
I have many fond memories of camping with my family. Mainly me and my brothers running around exploring everything nature has to offer.
As I age in a mid-sized City, next to one of the largest cities on this planet, I rely on these getaways to decompress. I look forward to not seeing anyone for a day. Or if I do see someone, there’s minimal interaction that’s hospitable without the “what do you want from me” undertone.  I am part of the city that I live in, but I am also a nature loving person. I have to keep some sort of balance between the two otherwise I know I’ll go nuts!
Keeping balance throughout the aging process is difficult. There’s this constant shuffle of priorities. Finding time for yourself and loved ones can be quite difficult if you’re the sole breadwinner of the family, or your work requires a lot of travel.
Keep those that matter close and allow time to embrace things you find important. Cooking, making things, gardening, spending time with other friends or relatives are all great ways to keep a good balance between self and things we want to spend time on.
Enjoy the outdoors!
